Matte agent additive convert any polyester powder coating paint to semi-gloss, satin, semi-matte and velvet matte or convert you candy color to anodized effect paint (dapend on ratio added). This additive allow to be flexible and hold in stocks less and convert existing gloss colors to colors with desired gloss level. Matte agent added to powder coating paint in proportion from 5% to 30% of paint weight. 30% is the maximum allowed ratio, that allow to get 0%-10% gloss level (may vary for different paint manufacturers and initial gloss level of paint). To get matte anodized effect candy, clear or velvet opaque color necessary to add maximum ratio – 30% of gloss paint weight, for exmaple, to 1lb/0.45kg of gloss paint necessary to add 4.8oz/135g of matte agent. After agent been added to paint necessary very thoroughly mix it in plastic bag. For prepred paint use next cure schedule 200C/392F – 10min or 190С/374F – 15min.
